In 2026, the Church of the Master United Methodist Church in Westerville is turning 175 years old. Founded as Otterbein Station United Brethren Church, it has grown and flourished as part of both the Westerville and Otterbein communities. The Hanby family were members of the church. Please join Church Historian Stephen Grinch on August 1st at the Shoemaker Cottage at the Hanby House Museum, where he will share the story of this remarkable church. Hanby House will be open for tours from 1-4pm. History presentations on the church will be at 1:30, 2:15 and 3:00. This event is free and open to the public.
